  • HMS Illustrious (1789) — 74-пушечный корабль 3 ранга. Спущен на воду в 1789 году. Участвовал в двух сражениях с французами: в 1793 году был при Тулоне и Генуе, где был серьёзно повреждён. Повреждённый корабль, шедший на буксире, попал в сильный шторм и был выброшен на берег, после чего сожжён.
  • HMS Illustrious (1803) — 74-пушечный корабль 3 ранга. Был в бою на Баскском рейде и при Яве. В 1854 году переоборудован в учебный корабль. В 1868 году разобран в Портсмуте.
  • HMS Illustrious (1896) — эскадренный броненосец типа «Маджестик». Спущен в 1896 году, разобран в 1920 году.
  • HMS Illustrious (R87) — авианосец одноимённого типа. Спущен в 1939 году. Принимал активное участие во Второй мировой войне. Разделан на металл в 1957 году
  • HMS Illustrious (R06) — авианосец типа «Инвинсибл». Спущен в 1978 году. По состоянию на апрель 2012 года находится в строю британского флота.
